USTA League Committee Application

USTA VERMONT is establishing a STATE LEAGUE COMMITTEE whose mission is to promote the growth and development of tennis.  The focus of this committee will be to provide governance and oversight to our USTA VT League programs and will be aligned with the goals and initiatives of USTA NE Section League Committee.

The Committee will promote league DEVELOPMENT, GROWTH, and COMMUNICATIONS.  Members will represent captains/players from various divisions and geographical locations (4-6 members); include a representative from a club that hosts league tennis and an outreach volunteer.  We are looking for people with the following skills: communication, follow-through, organized and the time and commitment necessary to support USTA VT Leagues.

The committee will meet at least twice a year in person with additional meetings and ongoing communication thru teleconference, videoconference or email.  Additionally, members are expected to serve on at least one sub-committee charged with development, growth, or communications. A term is at least three years; we currently are seeking members to serve from August 1, 2018 to 2020.
