The 2011 Apple Cider series of tennis tournaments at The Edge in South Burlington is just around the bend. This year we will be holding the series over two weekends, instead of three, combining all the doubles -- Men's, Women's, and Mixed -- into one weekend.
Here is the schedule:
Oct 14-16 The Edge in South Burlington (Kennedy Dr.) will host the Apple Cider Singles Tournament with Men’s and Women’s 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and Open Divisions. There will also be Junior Boy’s and Girl’s 12s and 14s Divisions. Players must be 15 or older to play in the Adult 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 Divisions. The Open Divisions are open to any age. Cost for the tournament is $22 plus tax. ($11 plus tax for a second event). Entry deadline is end of day Wed. Oct 12. To sign up, call Damon Fitch at 658-0001 or email to dsfitch@aol.com. Play gets under way Friday after 6:00pm. Players should be prepared to play Saturday evening if need be.
Nov 11-13 The Edge in South Burlington (Kennedy Dr.) will host the Apple Cider Doubles Tournament with both Men’s and Women’s Doubles – and Mixed Doubles. The Men’s and Women’s will include 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and Open Divisions – and the mixed will include Open, Combined 7.5, and Combined 6.0 Divisions. There will also be Junior Boy’s and Girl’s 12s and 14s Divisions. Players must be 15 or older to play in the Adult 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 Divisions. The Open Divisions are open to any age. Cost is $40 plus tax for a team ($20 plus tax per person, $10 plus tax per person for second event). Entry deadline is end of day Wed. Nov 9.
