USTA VERMONT
 
USTA Vermont is one of seven State Associations affiliated with USTA  New England, one of the seventeen sections of the United States Tennis Association (USTA). The other State Associations are New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Western Massachusetts and Eastern Massachusetts. USTA Vemont officers are: Diane Meyer, President, Donna Griffin, Secretary, and Joan Wulfson, Treasurer. 
 
The president or a delegate of each State Association Board of Directors is a member of the USTA New England Board. State Association board members may also serve on the Board as delegates-at-large. Currently, three members of the USTA Vermont Board serve on the USTA New England: Joan Wulfson, Donna Griffin, and Diane Meyer. 
 
The USTA New England Board of Directors meets formally four times a year. Board members associated with various “task forces” and “committees” meet or communicate throughout the year to carry out their specific assignments. Toward this end, they also work in close association with Jeff Waters, Executive Director of USTA New England, and his excellent staff.

The mission of USTA Tennis Vermont is to promote and develop the growth of tennis.
The USTA Vermont Board of Directors meets six times a year through teleconferencing. Members come from all over Vermont – some are tennis professionals, others are just tennis “junkies”. USTA Vermont sponsors the USTA  Vermont Web Site, the Junior Grand Prix Circuit, the annual Tournament of Champions, the annual Grassroots Tennis Camp, and the highly successful USTA League Tennis Program. It also supports through tennis programs in the community through grants.
